Second Grade

Second graders missed one of their class times this week since we had the day off on Monday. The students have been working on a project inspired by the artist Piet Mondrian. Mondrian created non-objective artwork that used vertical and horizontal lines as well as the colors red, blue, yellow, black, white, and gray. We learned about Piet Mondrian and tried to use his techniques when coloring in an animal of choice. Students did a very good job on this project, and many are still finishing up.
