First grade started a new project this week, and some students were able to finish their "monster" projects we have been working on. This week, students read the book "The Little Scarecrow Boy" by Margaret Wise Brown. We drew a scarecrow and went over all of our lines in crayon, then we got to paint all of the spaces in. The first graders were very excited to paint, and they did a great job. Here are some photos of the monster projects. The scarecrows aren't finished.
