Fifth Grade

Fifth Grade is in the same boat as fourth. We are trying to catch up on about three different projects. We did a very cool texture project with some buildings using sharpie and a background of oil pastel. And we also looked at the illustrations of Alex Eben Meyer who lives and works in Brooklyn. He uses the tentacles of octopi in illustrations to create some pretty cool things. There is an example above. We tried to use this to write our names, and a lot of them turned out pretty cool.
